Speech Night

On Wednesday evening there is a special event at the Melbourne Town Hall and the main attraction is the Class of 2014 from The MacRobertson Girls' High School. They will be on the stage so that everyone in this magnificent Art Deco Hall can see and celebrate this group.  Official proceedings will start at 7.30 with the year 12 group meeting no later than 7pm dressed in their winter uniform.  The whole function starts with the procession of these 251 students from the back of the Hall to the stage to the sound of the Melbourne Town Hall organ ... one of the most impressive in the Southern Hemisphere.  There will be speeches, awards, music, singing and some commentators predict tears!  We will see.  A full rehearsal is set down for Wednesday in the same venue starting at 8.45 am.
